Sell Tickets (New)
In this article you will learn how to handle ticket sales.
You can access the Sell Ticket option by clicking on the Events button at the top bar and selecting "Go to Event" of desired event.

From the Event Page, this document will focus on the (New) version of our Sell Tickets page.

You can either scan a student ID using a barcode scanner, enter a student ID number or look up a student by first or last name.

If the option “Student type to determine ticket price” is on, the correct ticket type will automatically be added to the shopping cart. If this feature is turned off you will be able to select the ticket you want to sell to the student.

You can select the payment type here or on the next screen.

Click Check Out to continue.

There is an optional field that can be configured in System Settings where you can track additional data on a ticket. In this example we have Seat / Meal.

Payment type will default to Cash. If you are using the ProPay Credit Card Integration you can choose Credit Card to activate the credit card terminal.

If you are using a receipt printer you can click Print and that will print out the receipt and complete the transaction or you can just click complete transaction.

When making a Credit Card transaction, you will see this screen, swipe or tap the credit card to complete the transaction.

You can also manually enter the credit card details

To use this option you need to select the setting "Do you want to be able to sell tickets to guests who have no student ID?" in the event setup.

To add a guest ticket click on the Guest Ticket
If you have Do you want to restrict guest tickets to be linked to a Host Student turned on, then all guest tickets will be grayed out until you scan a student. If this is turned off, then guest tickets will be available to be sold without scanning a student. The number of guest tickets displayed on this screen can be set in the event setting.

You can add the first and last name of the guest, this is optional

Click Check Out to complete the sale
